Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doni Almeida kicked off to start the match. Taquiri AD's Arí Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Guimarães in the 3rd minute of play. Doni Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Arí Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitinho Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Vicente Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Arruda in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Taquiri AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Matorin to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Eliseu Vaz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Taquiri AD's Arí Mangueira didn't even have to move. Diogo SC's Doni Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Diogo SC's Doni Almeida in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taquiri AD's goalie prevented a goal. Doni Almeida struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Arí Mangueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diogo SC. In the 24th play minute Dinei Pena came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vicente Favoretto. 1-0. 27 minutes into the game, Diogo SC's Doni Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arí Mangueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Guimarães in the 31st minute of play forced Taquiri AD's goalkeeper Arí Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Diogo SC booed when Taquiri AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Taquiri AD's zone, Doni Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Mangueira came out of the goal and Doni Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Doni Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doni Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Mangueira having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Taquiri AD getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Juvenal Arruda hit a great ball. Doni Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Arí Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Taquiri AD getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ramón de Medeiros hit a great ball. Otávio Matorin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doni Almeida got free with Arí Mangueira in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Váldson do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otávio Matorin during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Taquiri AD's zone, Benê Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Mangueira came out of the goal and Benê Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Percival Ferreira walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Arí Mangueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Vaz in the 83rd minute. Doni Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nildo Perez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Diogo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nildo Perez couldn't finish the play. Chico Fernandez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arí Mangueira. Taquiri AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcus Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Diogo SC got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Mandrak. Arí Mangueira made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Doni Almeida sent off a good shot on target. Doni Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diogo SC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Taquiri AD to leave the ground with a draw.
