Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fellipe Rosado started the match with the kick off. In the 9thth minute of the game Luciano Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barros Fc's José Augusto Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coutinho SC's João Pedro Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Gomes in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Franklin Gomes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. João Pedro Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celso Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Celso Paiva, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The José Augusto Prata was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin Gomes in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Pedro Marinho saved Coutinho SC from getting behind. Nilmar Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilmar Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Coutinho SC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nilmar Borges hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Coutinho SC defense, Fellipe Rosado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Pedro Marinho. The Coutinho SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Pedro Marinho should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fellipe Rosado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Marinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Barros Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Saldanha came free, but José Augusto Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Paiva struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. José Augusto Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coutinho SC. 61 minutes into the match, Barros Fc's Franklin Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Pedro Marinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Flávio Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coutinho SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barros Fc the free kick. The supporters of Barros Fc booed when Coutinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 64th minute of the match Flávio Valadares completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Flávio Valadares a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Barros Fc booed when Coutinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Celso Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coutinho SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Augusto Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Barros Fc getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Carlinhos Custódio hit a great ball. Franklin Gomes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Pedro Marinho having to make a save. Giovani Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovani Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Barros Fc's Giovani Aguiar got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Falcão Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Franklin Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Barros Fc's zone, Celso Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Augusto Prata came out of the goal and Celso Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Fellipe Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barros Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Fellipe Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fellipe Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Coutinho SC got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Borges.
