Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Kauã Queirós started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Abafadinho getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Rony Cardozo hit a great ball. Sílvio Luís Machado was a little too slow when Cesinha Coutinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Zé Pedro Tróia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauã Queirós went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Valério Nascimento in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sílvio Luís Machado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 19 minutes into the match, Jaicos SC's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valério Nascimento. In the 22nd minute, Wilson Lima sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jaicos SC's Sílvio Luís Machado didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cesinha Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abafadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesinha Coutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Luís Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilson Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Abafadinho! The audience thought a goal was coming when Valério Nascimento got free with Sílvio Luís Machado in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaicos SC's Sílvio Luís Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Jaicos SC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesinha Coutinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Luís Machado. That made the score 2-2 in the 44 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesinha Coutinho was the one to do the kick off. Kauã Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Mineiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Zé Pedro Tróia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dino Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zé Pedro Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Zé Pedro Tróia made a huge save. If Valério Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luís Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cesinha Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Jaicos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Nascimento came free, but Sílvio Luís Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Valério Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abafadinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Sílvio Luís Machado came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Abafadinho's Valério Nascimento. But to his dismay, Valério Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Abafadinho had played much better football throughout.
