Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chico Montenegro kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Marcal's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Montenegro came free, but Pedrinho Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. Fausto Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, one of Pernas de Pau FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Marcal's Régis França got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kléberson Pinheiro. Marcinho Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pernas de Pau FC's Mané Ferraz tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Chico Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Coelho having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcinho Botelho got free with Kléberson Pinheiro in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamim Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Dracena made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Pernas de Pau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Marcus Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrinho Coelho made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Fabiano Salles sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Fabiano Salles got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marcus Dracena scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kléberson Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Marcal's zone, Chico Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Coelho came out of the goal and Chico Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabiano Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinho Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Montenegro in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Chico Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pernas de Pau FC's Kléberson Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Dracena in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chico Montenegro in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcal's Pedrinho Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Montenegro in the 84th minute of play. Fabiano Salles in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedrinho Coelho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 87th minute, Chico Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Marcal support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
