Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nelsinho Schmidt made the kick off which started today's match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Remedio:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of XV de Jaú:s goal. In the 3rd minute there was a penalty for XV de Jaú. Clóvis Massa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tadeu Cerezo. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Nelsinho Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. XV de Jaú's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeu Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tadeu Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Remedio's zone, Vânderson Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeu Cerezo came out of the goal and Vânderson Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erivaldo Berger hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ruperto Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. XV de Jaú's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Rainerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeu Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Remedio's Rodriguinho Quadros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurinho Nogueira. Maurinho Nogueira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Tadeu Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Nelsinho Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XV de Jaú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelsinho Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Brodel in the 41st minute of play forced Remedio's goalkeeper Tadeu Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of XV de Jaú booed when Remedio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Nelsinho Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Remedio's Tadeu Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Schmidt in the 48th minute of play forced Remedio's goalkeeper Tadeu Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodriguinho Quadros to make the kick off. Tadeu Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Schmidt in the 56th minute of play. Tadeu Cerezo was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Nelsinho Schmidt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nelsinho Schmidt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The supporters of XV de Jaú booed when Remedio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nelsinho Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the XV de Jaú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Schmidt couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Clóvis Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Clóvis Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tadeu Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelsinho Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleandro Rocha struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Maurinho Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Remedio. 81 minutes into the match, Remedio's goalkeeper Tadeu Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelsinho Schmidt. In the 82nd minute Vânderson Brodel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jeremias Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. XV de Jaú's Ricardinho Vidal was substituted for Vânderson Brodel. The supporters of XV de Jaú booed when Remedio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelsinho Schmidt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Tadeu Cerezo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ricardinho Vidal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. XV de Jaú's Nelsinho Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When XV de Jaú's Ricardinho Vidal in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Remedio's goalie prevented a goal. Nelsinho Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Cerezo having to interfere. XV de Jaú played a much better game than Remedio and deserved their victory. The Remedio players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
