Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adolfo de Andrade started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Adolfo de Andrade notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cuyabasinho SS's Mateus Cordeiro. Mateus Cordeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Germano Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germano Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Marumby's Germano Berger got a free kick in the 6th minute. Cuyabasinho SS were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Marumby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cauan Cosme took the corner. Cuyabasinho SS's Cauan Cosme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aírton Vinhas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Cuyabasinho SS defense, Filipe Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus Cordeiro. The Cuyabasinho SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. Aírton Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Caio Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo de Andrade in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateus Cordeiro saved Cuyabasinho SS from getting behind. Cuyabasinho SS's Mateus Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo de Andrade in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Marumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Berger to maneuver through the defense. Cuyabasinho SS's Duarte Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Marumby's goalkeeper Aírton Vinhas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Víktor Nascimento. A hard shot 36 in the game by Víktor Nascimento from a close distance when the talented Aírton Vinhas managed to make a qualified save. Marumby's players were relieved. After 40 played minutes Marumby got a freekick which was hit by Germano Berger. A hard shot by Cauan Cosme from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Aírton Vinhas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Cuyabasinho SS defense, Adolfo de Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus Cordeiro. The Cuyabasinho SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus Cordeiro should have stopped the shot.

After 52 played minutes Cuyabasinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Caio Cardoso. In the 54th minute, Filipe Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Sidney Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cauan Cosme, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 62 minutes of play, Cuyabasinho SS's Duarte Rosa made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aírton Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Filipe Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Cordeiro. Cuyabasinho SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Marumby's Filipe Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Vinhas having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Cuyabasinho SS's Víktor Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aírton Vinhas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Marumby defense, Víktor Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton Vinhas. The Marumby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton Vinhas should have stopped the shot. If Adolfo de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marumby's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
