Emanuel Falck was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Clemente Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clemente Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Carioca made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Rocha in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Falck saved Associação Chapecoense from getting behind. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Clemente Rocha sped through Associação Chapecoense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emanuel Falck. Jaime Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Emanuel Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Rocha in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Aningas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Bernardo Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubens Tepedino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Paulo Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Clemente Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aningas's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Falck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. That made the score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. Dadá da Costa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Rubens Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aningas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
