Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Luís Gustavo Valle came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Fontainha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Valle couldn't finish the play. Felipe Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Pedro Paulo Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Rocha in the 12th minute of play forced Fontainha SC's goalkeeper Narciso Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Gustavo Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Aningas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Felipe Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fontainha SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Paulo Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Pedro Paulo Dantas managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Fontainha SC's Felipe Sanches fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Diego Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Diego Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Ferraz in the 29th minute of the match. Aningas's Pedro Paulo Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Valle in the 37th minute of play. Clemente Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Romero having to interfere. Aningas's Pedro Paulo Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Aningas from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Felipe Sanches got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes, Dadá da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aningas and the Fontainha SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Aningas got a freekick which was hit by Dadá da Costa. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Gustavo Valle made a kick off. In the 58th minute Fontainha SC were awarded a corner. Marcelinho Sergipano went to the cornerflag to take it. After 59 played minutes Fontainha SC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Schmidt. After 63 minutes of play, Fontainha SC's Luís Gustavo Valle made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Paulo Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Narciso Romero made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Felipe Sanches got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Dantas having to interfere. Felipe Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aningas's Diego Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Romero having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Paulo Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. Fontainha SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
