Wágner Vale took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Rossi. Denílson Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Itapagipe's Gilberto Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Cordarryl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Arif Egemen Akman came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the McLove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Egemen Akman couldn't finish the play. Wágner Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Denílson Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Itapagipe's zone, Arif Egemen Akman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denílson Rossi came out of the goal and Arif Egemen Akman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Egemen Akman was the one to do the kick off. If Vivaldo Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56thth minute of the game Arif Egemen Akman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapagipe's Denílson Rossi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wágner Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Rossi having to interfere. Vivaldo Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Arif Egemen Akman scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denílson Rossi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Arif Egemen Akman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denílson Rossi was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
