Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mazinho Ramos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gilvan Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Bueno in the 5th minute of play. Albertino Pombal's late challenge caught a Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertino Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Lord FC got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Pombal. Gilvan Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Gilvan Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Duarte in the 21st minute of play. João Pedro Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st match minute, Lord FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Pombal to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match, Pedro Paulo Duarte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilvan Cardozo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Lord FC booed when Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Romeu Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Ramos in the 37th minute of play. Mazinho Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Romeu Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Paulo Duarte made a kick off. Lord FC's attentive Filipe Schmidt managed to snatch the ball when Cristiano Travassos made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Filipe Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeu Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. If João Pedro Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
