Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mazinho Ramos started the match with the kick off. Gilvan Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Maraua's Jonas Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filipe Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Ramos in the 23rd minute of play forced Maraua's goalkeeper Orlando Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Cardozo having to interfere. Orlando Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Schmidt in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Albertino Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lord FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes, Maraua's Marco Moraes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilvan Cardozo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maraua reached it.

55 minutes into the game, one of Lord FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Gilvan Cardozo, was totally fooled by Maraua's Marco Moraes, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Filipe Schmidt took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Moraes. Orlando Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Maraua getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Marinho hit a great ball. Gilvan Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Nascimento in the 72nd minute of the match. Filipe Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lord FC's Filipe Schmidt got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Marcos Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredão Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Cardozo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lord FC's Albertino Pombal got a free kick in the 85th minute. Carlos Eduardo Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gilvan Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Maraua booed when Lord FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Marcos Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Nascimento in the 97th minute of play forced Lord FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute, Jonas Nascimento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilvan Cardozo. The goal made the score 1-3. The Maraua supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maraua would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
