In the 53rd minute, Ulysses de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Águia. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adriano Carlucci hit a great ball. The long shot by Abelardo Mangueira in the 56th minute really tested Przemyslaw Traczewski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Vinhas in the 57th minute of play forced Mofumbo's goalkeeper Otávio Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Águia. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
