Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frederico Meira started the match with the kick off. Benedito Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Barbosa having to interfere. Frederico Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Luiz Eduardo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdo França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lameirao SC's Luiz Eduardo Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Alagoano in the 18th minute of play. Nepomuceno's Valério Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Paranaense in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Raúl Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lameirao SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valério Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 47 played minutes Lameirao SC got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Cearense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Meira in the 48th minute of play forced Lameirao SC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raúl Paranaense made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lameirao SC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Benedito Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nepomuceno's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Eduardo Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valério Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo França in the 66th minute of play. Nepomuceno's Valério Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Paranaense in the 72nd minute of play. Anderson Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nepomuceno's zone, Valdo França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valério Palmeira came out of the goal and Valdo França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Nepomuceno's Erivaldo Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Eduardo Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frederico Meira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Benedito Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Luiz Eduardo Barbosa made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
