Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frederico Meira started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Riachuello's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Meira came free, but Orlando Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agostinho Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valério Palmeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. If Pedro Luiz Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedito Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Berger having to interfere. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Pedro Luiz Rosado sped through Nepomuceno's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valério Palmeira. 25 minutes into the game, Agostinho Correia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Valério Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 32 in the game by Benedito Alagoano from a close distance when the talented Orlando Berger managed to make a qualified save. Riachuello's players were relieved. 33 minutes into the match, Riachuello's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Meira came free, but Orlando Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Riachuello got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Cunha. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agostinho Correia was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Benedito Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agostinho Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Berger came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nepomuceno's Frederico Meira. But to his dismay, Frederico Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 65th minute, Osmar de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Agostinho Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachuello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agostinho Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Frederico Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nepomuceno's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Luiz Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Fred Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Breckenfeld was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Romário Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Valério Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agostinho Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valério Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Pedro Luiz Rosado sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Luiz Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Valério Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Riachuello could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nepomuceno throughout the match.
