Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nando Loyola kicked off to start the match. Charles França scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manfredo Paiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 played minutes São Paulo got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Queiroz. Durvalino Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Nando Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Teles having to interfere. Tomé Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Manfredo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manfredo Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Moraes got free with Maicon Teles in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateus Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Reynaldo Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nando Loyola was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 34 minutes into the game, SPORT ERN's Mateus Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maicon Teles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Mateus Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Moraes in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maicon Teles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Nando Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the SPORT ERN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nando Loyola couldn't finish the play. Nando Loyola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maicon Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. If Nando Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomé Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, João Vítor Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 66 played minutes São Paulo got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Vasconcelos. Mateus Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nando Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Teles having to interfere. In the 75th minute, São Paulo's Tomé Ramos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When Nando Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SPORT ERN fans jumped to their feet. Zeca Passos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Nando Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maicon Teles having to interfere. If Charles França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for São Paulo! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for SPORT ERN. Zeca Passos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maicon Teles. 2-2. 97 minutes into the match, Nando Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Teles. São Paulo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nando Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The supporters of São Paulo booed when SPORT ERN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 102 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Franças short, quick shot in the 104thth minute got Manfredo Paiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SPORT ERN fully deserved thier win.
