Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abelardo Peres got the match started through his kick off. Jorge Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano dos Santos in the 5th minute of play. Luís Eduardo Neiva succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. Cido de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfenense Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Luciano dos Santos scored to the left of an out of position Jorge Amorim, making the score, 2-0. Luciano dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jorge Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Tomás Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sereno's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Cerezo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Eduardo Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jorge Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Luciano dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sereno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cido de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Peres in the 58th minute of the match. Bernardinho Quaresma struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Cido de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfenense Futebol Clube. Luís Eduardo Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Alfenense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agenor Romero to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Sereno's Leonel Matorin in action when he in the 76th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The supporters of Sereno booed when Alfenense Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardinho Quaresma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardinho Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abelardo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Dracena hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Alfenense Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Dantas in the 93rd minute. The corner ended in Daniel Dantas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sereno's Cido de Amorim did a great save. Sereno walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
