Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luciano dos Santos took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Luís Eduardo Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Simões's late challenge caught a Sereno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Túlio Simões helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sereno booed when Gangorras SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes, Raimundo Dracena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sereno and the Gangorras SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Raimundo Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardinho Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Luís Eduardo Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Eduardo Neiva scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilton Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano dos Santos in the 21st minute of play forced Gangorras SC's goalkeeper Wilton Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sereno's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonel Matorin in the 23rd minute. Leonel Matorin made a great header on Sereno's corner, it was just that Gangorras SC's Wilton Nascimento managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Gangorras SC's Pedrão Simões got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Luciano dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sereno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano dos Santos couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes Gangorras SC got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Carioca. After a defensive mix-up in Sereno's zone, Ricardinho Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido de Amorim came out of the goal and Ricardinho Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Ricardinho Dias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cido de Amorim. The goal made the score 1-1. Luís Eduardo Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Sereno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Matorin to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donatello Ceresso to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Eduardo Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wilton Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano dos Santos in the 57th minute of play forced Gangorras SC's goalkeeper Wilton Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Luciano dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano dos Santos in the 67th minute of play forced Gangorras SC's goalkeeper Wilton Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-2 became the score in the 69th minute when Luciano dos Santos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Raimundo Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Nascimento having to interfere. Luciano dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute, Luís Eduardo Neiva fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 82 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Neiva lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Wilton Nascimento. After having played for 91 minutes, Luís Eduardo Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sereno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Eduardo Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Sereno's Wilton Nascimento threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luciano dos Santos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 95 minutes, Luciano dos Santos made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Gangorras SC's Wilton Nascimento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Sereno players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
