Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Doriva Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Zé Pedro Messias made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Saldanha FC's Cleiton Toledo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Amílton Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Pedro Messias having to make a save. Zé Pedro Messias made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Oséias Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. Zé Pedro Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Saldanha FC's Oséias Cavalcante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Sérgio Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Saldanha FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jacinto Peixoto hit a great ball. In the 23rd match minute, Saldanha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Oséias Cavalcante had several of the Borel EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Zé Pedro Messias as he didn't even see the shot coming. Amílton Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Didi Zilles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amílton Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oséias Cavalcante didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 42nd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Oséias Cavalcante ran dejectedly back to his position. Oséias Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Messias having to interfere. Amílton Paranaense made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 46thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Zé Pedro Messias would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Borel EC's Zé Pedro Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias Cavalcante in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Oséias Cavalcante made the kick off in the second half. Saldanha FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Borel EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacinto Peixoto took the corner. In the 60th minute Oséias Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Pedro Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Zilles kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Amílton Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Borel EC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sérgio Varela hit a great ball. When Oséias Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Saldanha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséias Cavalcante couldn't finish the play. Amílton Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Messias having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Borel EC! Borel EC:s Zé Pedro Messias showed great skill when he stopped Jacinto Peixoto:s penalty. Anísio Camargo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Paranaense in the 75th minute of play forced Borel EC's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílton Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Messias having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Borel EC's Fellipe Paraibano got a free kick in the 79th minute. Zé Pedro Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Cavalcante in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Borel EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Zilles to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Saldanha FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Doriva Cearense hit a great ball. Gualter Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Bastos in the 99th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saldanha FC fully deserved thier win.
