Cipriano Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Armindo Hames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armindo Hames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Barreto in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Eurico de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betinho Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betinho Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Taboquinhas SC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Betinho Tavares hit a great ball. S.Estrelas's Sílvio Luiz Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save S.Estrelas from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute of the match Eliseu Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luiz Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Betinho Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Galvão in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sílvio Luiz Senna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Betinho Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armindo Hames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Armindo Hames took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Taboquinhas SC booed when S.Estrelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Ramos during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the S.Estrelas defense, Teodoro Galvão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Luiz Senna. The S.Estrelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Luiz Senna should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, S.Estrelas's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Tavares came free, but Sílvio Luiz Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Teodoro Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taboquinhas SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 83rd minute Betinho Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.Estrelas's Sílvio Luiz Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Tavares in the 86th minute of play. Taboquinhas SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
