Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cacá Reis made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Elder Paranaense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Cacá Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Guarapua's Caio Neves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cacá Reis's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Guarapua's Caio Neves tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Guarapua's Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Guarapua from getting a goal against them. Sabino Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Tambari SC's Elder Paranaense made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Elder Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes, Elder Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tambari SC and the Guarapua players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tambari SC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Elder Paranaense hit a great ball. Cacá Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Durvalino Amorim made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of Tambari SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tambari SC. Valdomiro Moreno was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Caio Neves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Caio Neves really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Tambari SC's Emanuel Meireles got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute Elder Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Cacá Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Cacá Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio Neves hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Elder Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Tambari SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Tambari SC's Elder Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Reis in the 96th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guarapua's zone, Elder Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Gustavo de Medeiros came out of the goal and Elder Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tambari SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guarapua had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
