Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Genílson Ferraz started the match with the kick off. Armandinho Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genílson Ferraz in the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Glaura's zone, Claudinho Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Pena came out of the goal and Claudinho Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Peixoto's goalkeeper Armandinho Lucas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Faustino. After 21 minutes, Amílton Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glaura and the Peixoto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Amílton Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Glaura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. If Genílson Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Gernando Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Glaura's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Barral came free, but Cristóvão Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Claudinho Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peixoto's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho Barral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão Pena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinho Barral's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When Jacinto Faustino came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Glaura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Faustino couldn't finish the play. Sérgio Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinho Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Pena having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Glaura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Antunes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jacinto Faustino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glaura's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Faustino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Peixoto's Claudinho Barral in 75 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cristóvão Pena guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Jacinto Faustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Genílson Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Peixoto getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gernando Gomes hit a great ball. After 83 minutes, Gernando Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armandinho Lucas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristóvão Pena didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2.
