Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Panorama AD's Dida Aguiar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hamílton Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, XXXXXXXXXXXV's Kléber Cavalcante got control of the ball when Erivaldo Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Dida Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Cavalcante having to interfere. Carlos Terra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Júlio Meirelles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazinho Coelho's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Panorama AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Panorama AD's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Terra came free, but Júlio Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Terra struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Júlio Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XXXXXXXXXXXV. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panorama AD! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for XXXXXXXXXXXV. Armando Furtado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Júlio Meirelles. 0-1. After the first half XXXXXXXXXXXV were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Carlos Terra made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Carlos Terra put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio Meirelles. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Mazinho Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. XXXXXXXXXXXV's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazinho Coelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, XXXXXXXXXXXV's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Soeiro came free, but Kléber Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Panorama AD booed when XXXXXXXXXXXV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Adalmo Veiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléber Cavalcante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Júlio Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Erivaldo Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dida Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Panorama AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dida Aguiar couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched XXXXXXXXXXXV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
