Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Otávio Zilles made the kick off which started today's match. Amaniutuba SS's Gláuber de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Félix in the 3rd minute of play. Clóvis Valadares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enio Mota having to make a save. Clóvis Valadares's late challenge caught a Providencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clóvis Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. Vitinho Simões hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Enio Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Valadares in the 14th minute of play. Hernani Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gláuber de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Teixeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gláuber de Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Teixeira ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tony Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Providencia's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Barros came free, but Enio Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manoel Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enio Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manoel Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Otávio Zilles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Mota having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernani Félix in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gláuber de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vitinho Simões hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernani Félix to make the kick off. The Providencia fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Providencia's Hernani Félix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 58 minutes into the match, Otávio Zilles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enio Mota, 1-1. In the 64thth minute of the game Tony Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amaniutuba SS's Gláuber de Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amaniutuba SS's Gláuber de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Félix in the 67th minute of play. Enio Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clóvis Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Vitinho Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitinho Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gláuber de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Providencia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manoel Barros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Clóvis Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Mota having to interfere. If Clóvis Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Amaniutuba SS's Luís Santana got a free kick in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Amaniutuba SS's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Félix came free, but Gláuber de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manoel Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 99 minutes of play, Providencia's Duda de Toledo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gláuber de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Providencia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Amaniutuba SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
