In the 7th minute, Kauã Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrézinho Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Albuquerque in the 10th minute of play. When Cléberson Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estupradores de Tatu's protests and gave Cléberson Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. Cléberson Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ronaldo Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Esteves in the 13th minute of the match. Gil Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Estupradores de Tatu's Waldir Pimenta seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Waldir Pimenta the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Estupradores de Tatu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Waldir Pimenta had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a defensive mix-up in Novilhona's zone, Jano Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrézinho Vides came out of the goal and Jano Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estupradores de Tatu's Jano Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jano Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Hélio Mazza made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Estupradores de Tatu's Jano Rosado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrézinho Vides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Hélio Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play, Estupradores de Tatu's Dadá Sarmento made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrézinho Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Gil Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Novilhona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 76 minutes, Sílvio Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novilhona and the Estupradores de Tatu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Esteves hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Andrézinho Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
