In the 93rd minute Cabo Frio FC were awarded a corner. Wanderson Penha went to the cornerflag to take it. Enrique Rossi tried in the 93rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Wilson Couto a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-3. If Cesinha Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Cabo Frio FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Emendada SS.
