Nico Martins's late challenge caught a Tambe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nico Martins helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Chicão Paraíba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amauri Schmidt was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. The supporters of Tambe booed when Aruma SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Chicão Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gernando Dante walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Antônio Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Bittencourt having to interfere. Antônio Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Téo Bittencourt made a huge save. If Doni Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Chicão Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Téo Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Aruma SC's Nico Martins. But to his dismay, Nico Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Michel Matorin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tambe's Téo Bittencourt. Téo Bittencourt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Róbson Sena's late challenge caught a Aruma SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 49th minute Chicão Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Doni Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Doni Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Amauri Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tambe. In the 66th minute, Franklin Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st match minute, Tambe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Brodel to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes, Aruma SC's Franklin Peixoto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Téo Bittencourt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aruma SC reached it. Antônio Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doni Teixeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Amauri Schmidt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Terra in the 97th minute of play forced Tambe's goalkeeper Téo Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Aruma SC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
