Caco de Queiroz hit a great ball. Rodrigo Valladares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. In the 10th minute, Délio Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Chicão Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Valdemar Marinho. Sport Club Indaiatuba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. José Porto scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Téo Bittencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes in the game, Elano Pimenta dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Téo Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Chicão Paraíba recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdemar Marinho. Chicão Paraíba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. If Osvaldinho Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elano Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Bittencourt having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tambe were victorious despite being under pressure from Sport Club Indaiatuba for much of the match.
