Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diguinho Travassos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Falcão Ribeiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edu de Lara. After a rather tough play, Rialma FC's Enéas Bertassi got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Ismael Linares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Ribeiro skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Metropolitano's Diguinho Travassos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Falcão Ribeiro. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the match, Rialma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Travassos came free, but Falcão Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Atlético Metropolitano's Allan Moreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Falcão Ribeiro. Falcão Ribeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a little luck, Rialma FC's Falcão Ribeiro got control of the ball when Ivo das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedito de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Diguinho Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Atlético Metropolitano were awarded a corner. Ismael Linares went to the cornerflag to take it. Atlético Metropolitano's Ismael Linares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Falcão Ribeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Falcão Ribeiro made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Denílson Santos sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Rialma FC's Benedito de Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvaldo Guerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrique Trigo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Guerra. Edvaldo Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Diguinho Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Diguinho Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oséas Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Váldson de Almeida succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 46th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Trigo made a kick off. Edvaldo Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Falcão Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson de Almeida in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Diguinho Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Trigo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Edvaldo Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rialma FC. In the 71st minute, Enrique Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Atlético Metropolitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Santos to maneuver through the defense. Rialma FC's Falcão Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Travassos in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Metropolitano's zone, Cristiano Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Guerra came out of the goal and Cristiano Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedito de Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvaldo Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedito de Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Rialma FC booed when Atlético Metropolitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falcão Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Moreira in the 81st minute of play. After 82 played minutes Rialma FC got a freekick which was hit by Jean Figueiredo. After 91 minutes of play, Atlético Metropolitano's Diguinho Travassos made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Ribeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrique Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Guerra having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético Metropolitano had won after a very even match.
