Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teodoro Veiga got the match started through his kick off. Nico Sabóia might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Fantini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nico Sabóia ran back to his position shaking his head. After 4 played minutes Aracoiaba got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Silveira. After 9 minutes of play, Aracoiaba's Teodoro Veiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramón Pena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wágner da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Fantini having to interfere. Hamílton Macedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramón Pena having to make a save. After having played for 16 minutes, Nico Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calogi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 played minutes Wágner da Fonseca rounded Aracoiaba's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Calogi's Ramón Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Macedo in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Hamílton Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wágner da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Fantini having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Calogi's zone, Hamílton Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Pena came out of the goal and Hamílton Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Calogi getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Patrício Mineiro hit a great ball. Ramón Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Hamílton Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Aracoiaba's Fábio Mazza got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 47th minute, Willian Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute, Pedrinho Cavalcante sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Calogi's Ramón Pena didn't even have to move. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wágner da Fonseca to make the kick off. Wágner da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fábio Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calogi's Ramón Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Macedo in the 61st minute of play. Gláuber Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Hamílton Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Pena having to interfere. In the 79th minute Teodoro Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Mazza in the 82nd minute of play forced Calogi's goalkeeper Ramón Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Hamílton Macedo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Calogi's Ramón Pena. Ramón Pena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Aracoiaba's Fábio Mazza got a free kick in the 96th minute. Wágner da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Fantini having to interfere. Aracoiaba played a much better game than Calogi and deserved their victory. The Calogi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
