Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Coroacy's Nando Lira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Carlos Lima during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Coroacy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Linares to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Danilo Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Carlos Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Catanduva SP's Geovani Reis got a free kick in the 21st minute. Nilton Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Amauri Donato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Albertinho Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If José Carlos Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton Reis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Coroacy got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Mendes. José Carlos Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coroacy's Albertinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Donato in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Amauri Donato made the kick off in the second half. Danilo Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Arruda having to interfere. Amauri Donatos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Albertinho Arruda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 58 minutes, Nando Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coroacy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When José Carlos Lima came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Catanduva SP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos Lima couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Danilo Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Coroacy's Albertinho Arruda got control of the ball when Amauri Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by José Carlos Lima got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Albertinho Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amauri Donato went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Catanduva SP's José Carlos Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 82 in the game by Amauri Donato from a close distance when the talented Albertinho Arruda managed to make a qualified save. Coroacy's players were relieved. Albertinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Coroacy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Danilo Freitas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jardel Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Coroacy getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Celsinho Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Catanduva SP's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
