Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valdir Gaspar kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, one of Pirajuia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pirajuia. Pirajuia:s Rodrigo da Fonseca showed great skill when he stopped Sílvio Luís Freire:s penalty. 0-1 came in the 7th minute when Sílvio Luís Freire all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Rodrigo da Fonseca. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo da Silva got free with Luiz Paulo Baptista in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the game, Seco's Valdir Gaspar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo da Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alfredo da Silva's late challenge caught a Seco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo da Silva helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Seco booed when Pirajuia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betinho Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rodrigo da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Gaspar in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Valdir Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajuia's zone, Valdir Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo da Fonseca came out of the goal and Valdir Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Claudinho Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Fernando Veiga hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Valdir Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo da Fonseca having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Ceresso got free with Rodrigo da Fonseca in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Rodrigo da Fonseca made a huge save. Seco's Valdir Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Valdir Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Pirajuia's Rodrigo da Fonseca got control of the ball when Claudinho Ceresso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manoel Amaral's late challenge caught a Pirajuia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manoel Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Seco's Manoel Amaral got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Carlos Fernando Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Pirajuia got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Paraíba. Waldir Albuquerque charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldir Albuquerque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Pirajuia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Carlos Fernando Veiga sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajuia's zone, Valdir Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo da Fonseca came out of the goal and Valdir Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Valdir Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Gaspar in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo da Fonseca saved Pirajuia from getting behind. Carlos Fernando Veiga hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Seco left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pirajuia.
