Sérgio Pena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Paulo Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Geraldo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robinho Donatello hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Ruy Ceresso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Seco's Luiz Paulo Baptista. Luiz Paulo Baptista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 34 minutes, Augusto Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lendas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sérgio Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Arí Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geraldo Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Luiz Paulo Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos de Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Paulo Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdir Gaspar made a kick off. Lendas FC's Geraldo Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manoel Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manoel Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manoel Amaral hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Augusto Lira succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. 65 minutes into the match, Lendas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Amaral came free, but João Vítor dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cícero Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Valdir Gaspar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. After 84 played minutes Seco got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Veiga. 87 minutes into the match, Seco's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Eger came free, but Luiz Paulo Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Veloso scored 2-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Vítor dos Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Augusto Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Paulo Baptista. Seco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. The Seco fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lendas FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
