Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sérgio Pena kicked off to start the match. Álvaro de Carvalho hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Betinho Saraiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Vítor dos Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Geraldo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lendas FC's Ruy Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Sérgio Pena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo da Fonseca. Sérgio Pena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sérgio Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rodrigo da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Augusto Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lendas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ruy Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio Pena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo da Fonseca having to make a save. In the 40thth minute of the game Sérgio Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirajuia's Rodrigo da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geraldo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo da Fonseca having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Júnior Pitta notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pirajuia's Rodrigo da Fonseca. Rodrigo da Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reginaldo Paraíba made a kick off. Rodrigo da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Reginaldo Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. João Vítor dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rodrigo da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Pena in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo da Fonseca saved Pirajuia from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Augusto Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lendas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo da Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Pena in the 81st minute of play forced Pirajuia's goalkeeper Rodrigo da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajuia's zone, Geraldo Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo da Fonseca came out of the goal and Geraldo Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Pena in the 94th minute of play. Lendas FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
