Narciso Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The tension between the Mogeiro SC and the LK City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Fernandez took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dito Linares. Dito Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jonas Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Linares having to interfere. Dito Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Narciso Correia struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Dito Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LK City. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Fernandez in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dito Linares saved Mogeiro SC from getting behind. The supporters of LK City booed when Mogeiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionísio Quaresma didn't get a good kick on the ball.
