In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaguarembe SS's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilson Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Sílvio Luiz Neto made a huge save. Toninho Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lúcio Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Vidal in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulinho Arósio in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Luiz Neto saved Jaguarembe SS from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Jaguarembe SS's Válbson Trancoso got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Paulinho Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. In the 97th minute, Luisão Mesquita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Coroacy's Lúcio Figueiredo didn't even have to move. The Jaguarembe SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Coroacy's performance. The match ended with a win for Coroacy.
