Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cesinha Soares made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Walmir Leite sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Caraiva AD's Ciro Bertassi got a free kick in the 5th minute. Percy Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Loureiro in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Bahia F.C getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Duda Cruz hit a great ball. When Edinho Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Caraiva AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinho Loureiro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinho Loureiro in the 17th minute of play forced Bahia F.C's goalkeeper Percy Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Bahia F.C got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Falcão. Percy Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Filipe Valladares was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 32 played minutes Bahia F.C got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Cunha. After recieving a nice pass, Caraiva AD's Gilmar de Carvalho tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, one of Caraiva AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caraiva AD. 46 minutes into the match, Bahia F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Loureiro came free, but Percy Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Filipe Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edinho Loureiro made a kick off. Vágner Souto hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Augusto Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the game, one of Bahia F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Percy Camargo, was totally fooled by Caraiva AD's Gilmar de Carvalho, who 55 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Filipe Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesinha Soares having to interfere. Tostão Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duda Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cesinha Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bahia F.C's Dalmo Meireles got a free kick in the 78th minute. Tostão Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Valladares in the 81st minute of play forced Caraiva AD's goalkeeper Cesinha Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caraiva AD's Fernandinho de Medeiros got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Cláudio Arce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesinha Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Walmir Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesinha Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Valladares in the 96th minute of play. Edinho Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
