An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto de Senna in the 5th minute of play forced Favorita SC's goalkeeper Adhemar Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Duarte Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Tande having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Favorita SC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeu Dantas came free, but Adhemar Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Jonas Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Carambehy AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Carambehy AD's goalkeeper Agnaldo Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Cosme. If Sebastian Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto de Senna in the 45th minute of play forced Favorita SC's goalkeeper Adhemar Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto de Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agnaldo Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Paulista in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Wellington Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeu Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes of play, Carambehy AD's Ernesto de Senna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adhemar Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Adhemar Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Paulista in the 90th minute of the match. Ronaldo da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Carambehy AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
