Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hílton Pinheiro made the kick off which started today's match. Ronaldo da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deivid Tavares having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Paulista in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deivid Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Alexsandro Loyola shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Deivid Tavares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Hílton Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hílton Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Grêmio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hílton Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Alex Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adhemar Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Hílton Pinheiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adhemar Tande was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedrinho Ferreira. Favorita SC's Adhemar Tande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Favorita SC from getting a goal against them. Alex Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Adhemar Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deivid Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Paulista in the 28th minute of play. Deivid Tavares came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Favorita SC's Ronaldo da Silva. But to his dismay, Ronaldo da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hílton Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Tande having to interfere. If Hílton Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Grêmio's Alex Arruda got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Adhemar Tande came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio's Alex Arruda. But to his dismay, Alex Arruda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Adhemar Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Pinheiro in the 55th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes, Grêmio's Márcio Proença shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adhemar Tande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grêmio reached it. Ronaldo da Silva's late challenge caught a Grêmio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo da Silva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Favorita SC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ronaldo da Silva hit a great ball. Adhemar Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Pinheiro in the 79th minute of the match. Cristóvão de Lara hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Favorita SC's Adhemar Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Pinheiro in the 83rd minute of play. Manfredo Vergílio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Léo Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adhemar Tande having to make a save. Hílton Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristóvão de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Adhemar Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hílton Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Tande having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Renato Ramalho made a precise shot to the right of Adhemar Tande. Favorita SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
