Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Geovani Quaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marfinzeiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Quaresma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silas de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Albertino Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Simão having to interfere. Wágner Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silas de Brito got free with Albertino Matorin in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albertino Matorin made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Silas de Brito sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Albertino Matorin managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Marfinzeiro FC's Silas de Brito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute, Agnaldo Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wágner Simão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 39 played minutes Negao got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Negri. Wágner Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Chaves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Negao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marfinzeiro FC the free kick. In the 48th minute, Luiz Fabiano Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silas de Brito in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertino Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Negri got free with Wágner Simão in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albertino Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Abraão in the 66th minute of play. A hard shot 68 in the game by Haroldo Negri from a close distance when the talented Wágner Simão managed to make a qualified save. Marfinzeiro FC's players were relieved. When Haroldo Negri came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Negao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Negri couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Marfinzeiro FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Wellington Freitas hit a great ball. Wágner Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Matos in the 76th minute of the match. Dráuzio de Toledo's late challenge caught a Negao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráuzio de Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marfinzeiro FC! The goalkeeper, Wágner Simão, was totally fooled by Negao's Sílvio Lago, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Silas de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wágner Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agnaldo Matos's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Rodriguinho Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Albertino Matorin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silas de Brito went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Negao players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
