The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Korff FC. If Gino da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Korff FC's Wanderson Vinhas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cláudio Prestes's late challenge caught a Korff FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
