Válbson Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the match, Galo Doido FC's Sérgio Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egídio Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Sérgio Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Galo Doido FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristian Recife hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes Parapui SC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Hoffmann. After 15 minutes, Laerte Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galo Doido FC and the Parapui SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Galo Doido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Parapui SC's Luís Guilherme Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rubens Barros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristiano de Almeida firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Galo Doido FC booed when Parapui SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Parapui SC's goalkeeper Egídio Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Parapui SC got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Barros. Felix Lorien might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egídio Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Lorien ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th match minute, Parapui SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Abraão to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dorival Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo Doido FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorival Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Válbson Braga was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 61st minute, Válbson Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egídio Costa was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Fabiano Di Blasio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabiano Di Blasio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. 71 minutes into the game, Luís Guilherme Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cristiano de Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Lago in the 78th minute of play forced Galo Doido FC's goalkeeper Cristiano de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Galo Doido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Hoffmann came free, but Cristiano de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Luís Guilherme Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parapui SC's Egídio Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Braga in the 84th minute of play. When Aníbal Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parapui SC's protests and gave Aníbal Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Parapui SC got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Almeida. In the 89th minute Rubens Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Costa having to interfere. Egídio Costa made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Sérgio Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Barros in the 94th minute of play. Galo Doido FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
