Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmílson Queiroz got the match started through his kick off. When Mirary EC's Alexandre Correia in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morrao SS's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the game, Albertino Matorin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sérgio Teixeira. Albertino Matorin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Mirary EC's Sérgio Teixeira got control of the ball when Dagoberto Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonsinho Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Souza's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Afonsinho Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Queiroz in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Albertino Matorin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Morrao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Queiroz came free, but Afonsinho Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dagoberto Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cipriano Souza struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Afonsinho Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirary EC. In the 33rd match minute, Mirary EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Silva to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dagoberto Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Rodolfo Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dagoberto Carvalho made a kick off. Edmílson Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Linares having to interfere. When Edmílson Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mirary EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Queiroz couldn't finish the play. Edmílson Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 played minutes Morrao SS got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Matorin. In the 77thth minute of the game Edmílson Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morrao SS's Afonsinho Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dagoberto Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cipriano Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Mirary EC's Afonsinho Linares threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmílson Queiroz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Morrao SS booed when Mirary EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dagoberto Carvalho took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Teixeira. Sérgio Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Mirary EC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Morrao SS had won, even though Mirary EC had held more of the ball.
