After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Eriberto Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pégaso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Pégaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Sena came free, but José Paulo Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arlindo Oliveira during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The corner ended in Laerte de Brito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Campanha SC's Albertino Moura did a great save. Eriberto Brasil struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Albertino Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pégaso FC. If Kauan Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Vaz in the 59th minute of play forced Campanha SC's goalkeeper Albertino Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pégaso FC's zone, Fiori Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Pombal came out of the goal and Fiori Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Laerte de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiori Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Paulo Pombal having to make a save. In the 72nd play minute Eriberto Brasil came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Albertino Moura. 0-1. Pégaso FC's José Paulo Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Sena in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Pégaso FC's Kauan Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertino Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Fiori Sena came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Campanha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Sena couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pégaso FC's goalkeeper José Paulo Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kauan Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pégaso FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
