The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Damião got free with Luisinho Rocha in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisinho Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Nico Damião made a precise shot to the right of Luisinho Rocha. Fidelis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fidelis FC's Luisinho Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon de Senna in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Imbozal EC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mateus Quintal hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Júnior Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Fidelis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon de Senna came free, but Luisinho Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Delfim Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Cesinha Viana took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisinho Rocha. Luisinho Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Fidelis FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maicon de Senna 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Luisinho Rocha made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Nico Damião sent off a good shot on target. Imbozal EC's Maicon de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rdth minute of the game Maicon de Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fidelis FC's Luisinho Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Hoffmann in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marquinhos Simões was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Imbozal EC's goalkeeper Luís Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Hoffmann. Luisinho Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Cristian Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dudu Dante, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 68th match minute, Imbozal EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesinha Viana to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Maicon de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbozal EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maicon de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisinho Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
