Belchior Arósio made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Váldson Queiroz. Esperança Football Club's Luis Mejía played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Amaral in the 87th minute of play. Real Time Internacional's João Augusto Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Real Time Internacional from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Mazinho Vale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Augusto Arce, 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Time Internacional fully deserved thier win.
