Biguacu SC's Américo Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Cordeiro in the 10th minute of play. Raphael Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Pedro Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Américo Urbano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Pedro Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. If Haroldo Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Haroldo Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biguacu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Nico Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biguacu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Zé Pedro Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itumbiarense's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Pedro Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nico Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nico Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Mota having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sidnei Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The Biguacu SC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Biguacu SC's Haroldo Schmidt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 69th match minute, Biguacu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Américo Urbano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Pedro Souza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 71 minute of play. Sidnei Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Biguacu SC's Américo Urbano got control of the ball when Raphael Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Américo Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Souza in the 93rd minute of the match. The Itumbiarense players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
