Hélio Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Messias in the 41st minute of the match. Jardel Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Christian de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Apeu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of Pegado SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Apeu:s goal. The goalkeeper, Hélio Sena, was totally fooled by Apeu's Emílio Meirelles, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Apeu getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Arnaldo Loureiro hit a great ball.
