After some careless play in the Carregador FC defense, Sidnei Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agnaldo Lopez. The Carregador FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agnaldo Lopez should have stopped the shot. Reinaldo Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Agnaldo Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Carregador FC's Gilvan Jacinto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adelino Nascimento. Adelino Nascimento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 36 minutes into the game, Michel Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carregador FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool EC the free kick. In the 36th minute, Michel Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Liverpool EC's André Nascimento in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carregador FC's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arí Albuquerque was the one to do the kick off. André Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Lopez having to interfere. Carregador FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Reinaldo Alagoano scored to the left of an out of position Agnaldo Lopez, making the score, 1-3. Arí Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adelino Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Liverpool EC's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Albuquerque came free, but Adelino Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Nascimento succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 75th playminute. Agnaldo Lopez went to the wrong direction when David Azevedo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Reinaldo Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Agnaldo Lopez made a huge save. Arí Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Nascimento having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Reinaldo Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carregador FC's Agnaldo Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Alagoano in the 98th minute of play.
