A wasted opportunity for Trapriche SS. 7 minutes into the match, Trapriche SS's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Paraíba came free, but Aílton Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Mané Amaral made a huge save. Mané Amaral came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Trapriche SS's Ian Batista. But to his dismay, Ian Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aílton Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Aílton Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Pedro Paraíba went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Aílton Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Zé Pedro Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Amaral having to interfere. The supporters of Trapriche SS booed when Gergelim SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jânio Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Célio Vinhas hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Aílton Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Souto in the 39th minute of play. Zé Pedro Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Aílton Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gergelim SS. 47 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Gergelim SS's Ademar Souto fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ademar Souto came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gergelim SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Souto couldn't finish the play. Zé Pedro Paraíba in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aílton Romero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ademar Souto took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Aílton Romero to make any attempt to save it. Ian Batista hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ademar Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aílton Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aílton Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Souto in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th play minute Zé Pedro Paraíba came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aílton Romero. 1-4. Célio Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mané Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ian Batista struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mané Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trapriche SS. In the 80th minute, one of Gergelim SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gergelim SS. Zé Pedro Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Romero having to interfere. If Kiko Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gergelim SS played a much better game than Trapriche SS and deserved their victory. The Trapriche SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
