The audience was convinced that Rafa Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Veiga was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Olívio Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Fernandinho Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Penha in the 35th minute of the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 95th minute of the match, Pedrão Penha tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernandinho Vaz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Contentes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carnaubais AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
